The agricultural and bio-diversity park created by N.K. Kurian is involved in the conservation and propagation of rare and threatened plant species. It is noticed that the destruction of natural habitats is causing flora species extinction. These species need to continue to exist as they are intrinsically linked with the environment of the region and the welfare of humans and animals.

N.K. Kurian personally travelled across India and to numerous countries, seeking out rare and unique species of plants, understanding their need for rearing and nourishment - and successfully planted and reared them in the park with his team of agricultural experts.
